We lost the game...

Ok,so Liverpool lost to AC Milan.2-1,to be exact.Milan's Inzaghi scored a free kick n the second goal.Liv's Kuyt score the only goal but it was too late to save the game...



Seriously,this game was more exciting than the Chelsea -Man u FA cup final (sorry ching yee). The time passes so fast.I on the tv at 2.30, and when i look at the clock,its already 4 something...Like many of the Reds,i thought we had a chance to draw the game when Kuyt score the goal, going to the extra time then mybe penalties...obviously i am wrong...



Was damn sad when the final whistle was blown,manage to hold my tears and all.But then when i see Poalo Maldini holding the trophy,i started to cry.I dunno why ,the tears jus come...Its a little creepy as i din even cry when my granpa pass away earlier this year or when Harry Osbourne die in Spiderman 3 ( most of my girlfriends n female cousins cry when harry die).....hahaha looking back,its quite funny dat i shed my tears for 11 men who din win the match...





The shits:

1. The referee shouldn't award the free kick.


2. Rafa should not use the 4-4-1-1 formation...they should jus stick to their familiar 4-4-2 formation.


3. And y is Gerrard playing as a stand-in striker?He should be playin at the middle mid-field,or the right..


4. Rafa should hav let out Crouch at half time,or even start him with Kuyt...but no...he onli play when there is onli 15 minutes left...which is not helping.


5. Why is Bolo Zenden playing the game?

10. Milan is wasting our time,playin defensively after their first goal..
11. We had extra 3 minutes to play,which can bring a big difference to the game.But the stupid referee onli let us play 1.5 minutes, then end the game.Also Milan is trying to waste time....again...by trying to get our players booked and made substitution..

The positive outlook:

1. We lost. We got a goal back! We did not lose badly like Bayern did at the Allianz Arena. We didn't get a pummelling like ManU did in the San Siro!
2. We kept Clarence Seedorf in control for the most part of the game.
3. Mascherano is brilliant...kept kaka in control most of the time.
4. Pennant is also good...more games n improvement n he could be a world class player.
5. The players n fans all show good sportsmanship.

Overall,the game was 50-50,although we created more chances in the second half.Oh well,the past is past ...

Proud of our team for making the final and being the better team.
We lacked the upfront power we needed and Crouch was the one player Milan were worried about and was only given a few minutes.As they say it is better to have lived and been loved than the opposite.
I say it is better to get to the final and lose, be the better team and hold our heads up high unlike those other teams from the opp end of the East Lancs or down south.
Had Mourinho lost we would be hearing all about how the conspiracy was against them
Hats off to the team, management and fans for being above it all

Oh yeah, congratulations to Milan,u got your revenge this time,but we r goin to be much better and stronger next season.

Ramblings..

Lately,i am feeling quite nervous.Maybe because college orientation in 2 days time..n i haven't finish buying my college stuff yet...or maybe Liverpool will be playing against AC Milan in the Champions League final..also in 2 days time...Many football pundits think Milan is going to win this game,so i m kinda worried...Wait,wth is wrong wif me?I am supposed to have faith in Gerrard n co....Well,i jus hope i will be singing on Thursday morning...If Liverpool win,i will belanja MCD..i promise =)

Meanwhile,here r some good banners which i hope the players will see in Greece thus motivate them..

Seriously,this interview is damn funny...those 2 kids,Ant and Dec r so natural in their performance...Make me wish all the child actors in Malaysia n Singapore r more like them...i always think our child actors or performers are quite stiff n forced in their performance..like they r being forced to say the script or something.

For those who dunno,the song beckham n the kids r singing is the Man U song..which is beckham's former club,so u can see he was quite reluctant to sing it...he now plays for Real Madrid.

Of Robbie Fowler,n Jerzy Dudek

So,last sunday was the last game of the EPL season.And it will be the last game Fowler will ever play for Liverpool...unless he was in the starting line for the Chmps League final against AC Milan.Dudek,the goalkeeper did not play the last game because he was injured..

But then those two are legends at Anfield n will be sorely missed by fans,specially Dudek who famously save Andriy Shevchenko penalty to enable Liv to win the 2005 Chmps League final...against AC Milan also...dat match was kinda a miracle because Milan score 3 goals at half time,n everyone thought they r goin to win it,but then Liv score 3 goals in 6 minutes at the second half before it went to extra time and penalties n Liv won 3-2.

Now,Fowler...i dun noe much about him because he was at his peak from 1992 to 2001,then he left the club for Leeds United n Manchester City,before returning to Anfield at 2006.By that time he was bout 31 n mostly used as reserve....but he did score some good goals from time to time =) Oh,he was nickname "God Fowler" by the fans for scoring 128 goals in his 300 something Liv appearance.And he is a landlord to about 100 houses in Britian...(rich..rich..)
