Second week

Today will be the second full week i am living at Kampar =)

The good:
-Campus facilities is good(except the cafe)
-The campus lake/landscape makes me feel like i am going to a resort instead of studying =_='
-Water birds such as cranes and storks are everywhere ( they live in the little islands in the middle of the lake). No noisy crows here.
-Cheap stuff
-Friends staying nearby ^ ^
-Fresh air

The bad:
-Long walk between classes, Block D to Block B then to cafeteria then to lab then to Block D again and at last to Block B to wait for bus?
-The way of life is too slow here. Ppl here (penduduk yang sudah tinggal lama) walk slowly, drive slowly, serve the food slowly and the mamak waiters here had the shortest memory ever.
-Foreign workers working on construction site...must be extra careful...
-No entertainment places
- It rains every freaking afternoon/evening.

The ugly:
- Wild dogs sniffing on our too small and overflowing trash can outside. Come on lar, Westlake management, you have 10-15 ppl staying in 1 house, can't you provide a BIGGER trash can for us????
-Utar cafeteria . We have 4k-5k students for this intake. We only have 1 stall selling chap fan. The line is always long. The cafe can only sit 300 students. The fans are too higgggghhhhh up. Sometimes the fan is not on at all.


Things i miss :
-Family
-Friends
-Reading the newspaper on a daily basis
-TV ( 8tv, ntv7 Chinese news,somehow, i watch the news every single day since i started college... Euro 08..where can i watch it online live?)
-KL and PJ traffic, the hustle bustle of the city..
